English: A soldier with 1st Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment steps over a trip wire in an obstacle course designed by master resilience trainers with the Fort Hood Comprehensive Soldier and Family Fitness Program Dec. 10, 2013. The course consisted of a field full of metal shipping containers representing a village, with trip wires and objects scattered around the area. In addition, photographs of faces were taped up inside and outside several of the structures. Once they returned to the starting point, the soldiers were asked to write the number of the conex next to the faces that they saw on or in it on the cards, and then chart the places they noticed possible improvised explosive devices on a map. The training is part of the Army's Ready and Resilient Campaign Plan. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Ken Scar, 7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment) |
