English: Indianapolis Colts punter, Pat McAfee, receives some hands on non-lethal combative training during a visit to Camp Atterbury July 24. McAfee spent the entire day with military members assigned to the base thanks to the coordination efforts of Jeff Wells of Wishes for Our Heroes, a local non-profit organization providing support to services members and their families. McAfee and Wishes four our Heroes representatives had the opportunity learn more about the unique training activities on the base including simulated combat medical training, weapons familiarization, lunch with troops and employees and the opportunity to take a short ride on post in an up-armored Mine Resistant Ambush Protected or MRAP. |
