English: Hazel Ying Lee, left, was one of approximately 1,100 civil service Women Airforce Service Pilots that flew Army aircraft during World War II and was the first Chinese-American woman to fly for the United States military. Pfc. Emma Jane Windham Burrows served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during the war and was the Women’s Army Corps’ first crew chief and aerial engineer.
