| Description |
English: Plains Lane, Elland The lane climbs the steep hillside from Park Road to a disused mine. On the steepest section of the climb, the lane is surfaced in concrete, but as the gradient eases the surfacing changes to brick, which are readily available from local brickworks. Both types of construction are unusual, but suggest heavy industrial use. |
