| Description |
English: Plantation and Security Fence. The OS Map shows the public footpath finishing at a dead end at this fence. This is the boundary of the former Gaydon Airfield and presumably the footpath was severed when the airfield was built as a wartime measure. Currently the old airfield is used a vehicle proving ground and the border fence has been augmented by high growing conifers to keep out prying eyes! This view is looking NE from SP339 537. |
