Description	Nederlands: Collectie / Archief : Fotocollectie Van de Poll Reportage / Serie : Vijftigjarig regeringsjubileum van koningin Wilhelmina Beschrijving : Politieboot bij de Nationale vlootschouw op het Buiten-IJ op vrijdagmiddag met v.l.n.r. Overste Ruijgen, Posthuma en Adjudant Marelis Annotatie : Met 40 vaartuigen regelde de politie-te-water het verkeer, gewapend met schematische kaarten, waarop elk schip z'n plaats had. De vaarroute was 4 km lang, aan twee zijden en betrof ca 2000 schepen en scheepjes: 6 marine-eenheden, waaronder de "Karel Doorman", op het Binnen-IJ, 9 mijnenvegers, vissersvaartuigen, jachten en binnenschepen op het Buiten-IJ, tussen de Oranjesluizen en de vuurtoren van Durgerdam.
