Description
Svenska: Fäste av förgylld mässing. Oval plan knapp med profilerat kort ryggbeslag. Oval plan nitknapp med graverat monogram "M.R." (Reuter). Handbygel som delar sig i tre grenar med den preussiska örnen i genombrutet ciselerat arbete med kejsar Wilhem II:s monogram "W II" på bröstet. Smal, plan parerplåt med nedvikt insida. Böjd kavel av fiskskinn lindad med tvinnad silvertråd. Slätt nedre beslag av förgylld mässing.

Klinga rak, tvåeggad med plan rygg vid basen. Graverad och förgylld inskrift på tyska på baspartiet "Gott seegne Dich Du Held auss Mitternacht Du Löw vor Dem Die stärcksten Feinde zittern, Gott stärcke Dich bey allen Ungewittern, Gott sey bey Dir und deiner taapfern macht". "Bluh theurer Carolus Du held auss mitternacht, Den ist Dass helden glück nach hertzens´Wunsch anlacht. Vor Dir ist manchen Feind sein stoltzer mut entfallen. Darum sohl Dem ruhm bey uns bis an Die Wolcken schatten". Framför texten på klingans utsida är 4 kronor graverade.
