We thus notice that £400 sterling was the maximumto be paid by the British Government, and in this way ina wealthy congregation the stipend might and sometimeswas raised to £800 sterling per annum. Although the building of the church was now prosecutedwith vigour, we find that two years were spent in itsconstruction. An accident occurred which caused a con-siderable delay and an extra expenditure of $5000. Theinterior pillars seem to have settled clown from someimperfection in the foundations, thus fracturing the roof tosuch an extent that both pillars and roof had to be rebuilt. The foundation stone was laid on the 25th February 1833,and the church was opened for public worship on the 25 thApril 1835, but a longer period had yet to elapse before thebenefit of the Consular Act could be felt, and not till 1838was the first supplementary amount paid to us by the BritishGovernment.

WilliamBrown, to a very numerous and appreciative audience, manyof the people coming from long distances in the countrydistricts. The preacher took his text from Solomons prayer atthe Dedication of the Temple, 1 Kings ix. 3, And theLord said unto Solomon, I have heard thy prayer and thysupplication, that thou hast made before me: I havehallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my namethere for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be thereperpetually. The sermon was never printed, and only outlines of ithave been preserved. The preacher divided it into fourheads— Royalty on its Knees, Humility in Prayer, Prayer in time of Xeed, and The Blessing. 1st. Royalty on its Knees.—The person w

Argentina

Argentina has no "freedom of panorama" provision in its copyright law. At least some think there is de facto freedom of panorama in Argentina regarding buildings:

English It is uncontroversially accepted that buildings can be reproduced by paintings or photographs, without this reproduction infringing copyright.

Se ha admitido pacificamente que los edificios puedan ser reproducidos mediante pinturas o fotografías, sin estimarse que esta reproducción lesione los derechos de autor.
