Summary
[edit]DescriptionRedundant quarry near Trusham - geograph.org.uk - 711984.jpg |
English: Spoil tips from Wheal Exmouth, a former metalliferous mine near Trusham. There are several small redundant metalliferous mines near here. This tip is on both sides of the Teign Valley road between Chudleigh and Doddiscombsleigh near Rydon. Most date from the 13th century, not a lot will grow on them now, recent tests have shown there to be traces of arsenic among the spoil. |
