A FOUNDATION member of the Painters1 Guild of Amster-dam, the pictures by this man are to be found in that cityat its Grand Museum; in the Louvre; at the NationalGallery, London; The Hague, and at Munich. This portraitof a Dutch gentleman, with flaxen, curling hair, representshim seated sideways on a chair, with one arm across theback and the other at his hip. He is dressed in black, andwears an elaborately embroidered collar and cuffs. Thereis a faint moustache, and the face, full and healthy, is typicalwithal. No. 22.NICHOLAS ELIAS.
