Description
Deutsch: Richtung Osten, über die vordere Brücke verläuft die Strecke ELSt/6375, seit Dezember 2013 zusätzlich von den Zügen der S-Bahn Mitteldeutschland von und nach Wurzen befahren, über die hintere die Strecke LC/6361. Diese wurde mit dem Betriebsschluss des 24.11.2012 stillgelegt.
Blechträgerbrücken mit durchgehender Schotterbettung und Natursteinwiderlagern in dieser Form sind in Leipzig bei den Erweiterungen der Bahnanlagen ab etwa 1895 in großer Zahl gebaut worden, doch infolge der erneuten Umbauten seit etwa 1995 nimmt ihre Anzahl stark ab. Die Bauwerke an den Strecken ELSt und LC sind die letzten und mit den Bauarbeiten an der Strecke ELSt um 2020 verschwindet diese Bauart nahezu ganz.
