English: Engraving representing Télesphore Fournier (1823-1896)
By an engraver whose monogram has not been identified [1].
This engraving was possibly drawn after a photograph by the Topley studio, Ottawa, considering the similarities of posture and clothes of the subject in a different engraving published in Canadian Illustrated News, February 6, 1875, p. 89, identified "From photographs by Topley, Ottawa" [2] and in a photograph included in a mosaïc File:Postmasters General of Canada 1831 to 1929.jpg and the similarities with another photograph by Topley from December 1873, from a different view of the subject but that could have been taken during the same photo session File:Télesphore Fournier.jpg.
