Summary
[edit]DescriptionSanikiluaq rocks -e.jpg | Leaving Sanikiluaq and looking south at some of the most spectacular island-defining geology in the world. The youngest basalt formation is flung like a necklace into the waters of Hudson Bay. The basalt also forms the exterior rim of larger islands when/where out of the salt. The Belcher Islands comprise a series of doubly plunging anticlines large enough to be seen from orbiting satellites. |
