Huvudbanér för generaladjutanten Knut Leijonhuvud, död 1700. Utfört av B. Precht. Rummet över sakristian.

Generaladjutant Knut Leijonhufvud föddes den 16 juli 1674 i Stockholm. Förlovad 1699 med Christina Catharina Lewenhaupt. Gift med Christina Catharina Lewenhaupt (1674-1714).
Knut reste 1693 till Holland för att fortsätta studierna och i början av 1694 till Paris. Kapten reformé vid generallöjtnanten Greders tyska infanteriregemente i fransk tjänst 1694. Fänrik vid svenska livgardet 1695. Löjtnant vid svenska livgardet 1696.
Död den 20 november 1700 i slaget vid Närvä vid konung Carl XII:s sida och medelst ett skott i huvudet. Begravd (den 20 november 1700) på konungens bekostnad i Riddarholmskyrkan. Fadern uppsatte där över honom ett marmorepitafium med latinsk inskrift och Leijonhufvudska vapnet samt lät över honom slå en skådepenning, på vars ena sida ses hans bröstbild med namn och titel och på den andra, förutom en devis jämte födelse och dödstid, ett lejon hållande ett svärd i högra och en lagerkrans i vänstra tassen. Knut Leijonhufvuds epitafium i Riddarholmskyrkan är tillskrivet Bernard Foucquet.
