hecorner at the end of the table is the 11 x 14 Eastman printerwith the timer above and a small shelf for negatives which arein use. Then comes the double doors and the plate rack in thisview. The enlarging table is folded up out of the way. Underit is a small copy board which attaches to it and is used forclose work with short focus lenses. There are two ventilatorswhich are not very evident in the pictures as one is under thetable, and the other is behind the large copy board which isabout 7 inches from the wall. A large quantity and a greatvariety of work can be handled in this room, and if it werenecessary all the work of an ordinary photo business could bedone in a room not much larger than this, except that materialsand apparatus would have to be stored outside of this space. As the ideas embodied in this description have been ofgreat benefit to the writer, he believes that they will justify acareful study by all those to whom economy of space and effi-ciency are essentials. 156
