English: The May pole at The Maypole. The Maypole island is one of those city land mark junctions on the Alcester Road out of Birmingham. Many routes converge and bus services converge here. The May Pole public house used to stand where the hoarding and steelwork can be seen, however a (the?) May pole is still standing beside the roundabout. |
