Text Appearing After Image:
BLACK AND GOLD 87 THE DRAMATIC CLUB There is no one thing in the High School that has given thestudent body at large more pleasure and enjoyment than have the ac-tivities of the Dramatic Club and the Winston Hi Players. An un-usually large amount has been accomplished by the club, especiallywhen one takes into consideration the fact that it was organized onlythis year. It has captured a number of coveted prizes and has shedmuch honor and glory on old R. J. R. H. S. A glance over the listof things which have taken place will suffice in bringing about a reali-zation of the splendid work they have done. The school first heard from the club in a one-act play, TheBoor, which was produced in chapel and later at Granville School. The next thing was another one-act play, Peggy, a Carolinafolk play, also given before the school at chapel. Then came one of the events which the school greatly enjoyedand appreciated; namely, the reading of Dickens Christmas Carolby the famous Professor Koch. Howe
