1. INTRODUCTION Although a great number of experimentshave already been performed with the regularwireless telegraph set which was installed inthe year 1920, the wireless classes have beenunable to carry on any vvirelese telerhone ex-periments, due in part to lack of api^aratus, and also in part, to lack of time necessary forthe calculaticns and construction work incidentto the installation of a wireless telephone set. In constructing the set, the apparatusbelonging to the physics department was uaed inaddition to several pieces constructed or pur-chased when neces-ary. The station is locatedin a room of the Physics Laboratory on the sec-ond floor of Chapin Hall. The antennae are sup-ported above Chapin Hall and the Mission Build-ing by wooden masts and one of the to7;ers on theArmour Flats. Calibration curves, diagrams, photographs, circuit constants, etc., have beenmac.e for the set. Thus should the apparatus betaken apart at any time, it can readily be setlip again without recalculatdesignconstructi00pear
