| Description |
English: The old Hull to Withernsea Railway, north of Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This photograph was taken about 200m west of the former Hedon Station looking eastwards. Passenger trains last ran down this line in October 1964. The railway would no doubt have proved popular if it was still here today to cater for the many people who have moved to the villages of South Holderness and commute to Hull on a daily basis since the line's closure. The trackbed is now a bridleway. |
