Summary[edit]

Description
English: U.S. Army physician Lt. Col. Michael Hoilien, center, assisted by Capt. Joseph Bingham, nurse, and U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Rolando Pabon, pharmacist, all with the Expeditionary Medical Liaison team from Joint Task Force-Bravo located at Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras, examines a olderly man from the community of Paya during the disaster relief operations in areas affected by Tropical Storm Noel. The EML team provides basic medical care to the residents of remote villages in the Dominican Republic. The team augments the ongoing medical support being provided by local organizations to the displaced citizens. U.S. Army South's rapid deployable command and control personnel along with their humanitarian assistance survey team deployed to the Dominican Republic to participate in disaster relief operations in areas affected by Tropical Storm Noel. This phase of the operation concluded Nov. 8. Now they will focus on providing much needed medical attention.
