The northfront, reprefented in the annexed view, is theraoft perfect : A range of fix columns, withtheir correfpondent pilafters, and entablature,fuftain a noble pediment, highly decorated ; ateach fide, in the fame range, are two pilafters.On account of the acclivity of the ground onwhich the Exchange ftands, the entrance is bya large flight of fteps, and before it, is ahandfome balluftrade fupported by ruftic work :In this front, between the columns, are threeentrances, with elegant iron gates, hung toIonic pilafters. Immediately over the gates,are three windows between the columns, thataflift in lighting the Coffee-room ; on each fideof thefe windows, are two others, all richlyornamented by architraves, &c. The lowerpart, between the pilafters, is embellifhed byruftic work.
