Description	Nederlands: Collectie / Archief : Fotocollectie Dienst voor Legercontacten Indonesië Reportage / Serie : [DLC] K.L. Krijgsraad Batavia, de Smit & Van der Wal-zaak Beschrijving : Voor de KL-Krijgsraad te Batavia had zich op 4 maart 1949 te verantwoorden sergeant-majoor adm. Bartholomeus van der Wal. Eind 1947 organiseerde hij onder de militairen in Indonesië een pakkettenactie onder de naam Smit & Van der Wal. De goederen ter waarde van tienduizenden guldens verkocht hij echter in Nederland in de zwarte handel en vele Nederlandse families wachtten tevergeefs.
