Left-to-right Vs. Right-to-left[edit]

Hello @Lệ Xuân: ,

I saw that you changed the word order, while I personally prefer the right-to-left word order I completely understand it. But as these two images are technically distinct, wouldn't it be better to upload the traditional word order as a separate image then? --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 21:37, 21 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Donald Trung: The reason I changed the word order is because I am not sure if the seal should be on the left or right when the words are written right to left. So I thought left-to-right was a "safer" option. But like you, I also prefer the right-to-left more because it gives that "classic mood" more appropriate for history topic. You can restore the old version and I agree with that. Urara Haru 麗春 05:12, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Lệ Xuân: , I fully agree with your reasoning, as when the script is written from right-to-left the seals tend to be on the left side, so the original one would be anachronistic. I could try to upload the old version and then credit it as "Trần Phương Anh (陳芳英)", but I only have access to mobile telephones and for whatever reason all free image editing software for mobile devices I come across are of "rear-end quality". I don't disagree with your decision, I just wondered what your thinking behind it was. Thanks for informing me.
Unrelated topic, if you have time I requested another seal image, this time of the Hoàng Đế chi bảo (皇帝之寶) over at "Commons:Graphic Lab/Illustration workshop#Hoàng Đế chi bảo (皇帝之寶)". I didn't ping you because you already did so much and I wouldn't want to bother you too much. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 06:44, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Donald Trung: I posted a new version here File:"History of China" for template heading (right-to-left).svg with the seal on the left side. I'll have a look later at your request of Hoàng Đế chi bảo. Urara Haru 麗春 08:54, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
