Musical quality[edit]

This is nice, but there are quite a few mistakes in the performance. In addition, the pianist should put more emphasis on doing a smooth play. In Germany we call that "hudeln". Thanks for your contributuion anyway, it is still nice to have a digital resource at commons. Greetings, --21:49, 4 April 2008 (UTC) (that was me: --Mattes (talk) 10:58, 14 July 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Yep, starting on minute 9 it's getting downhill. Bennylin (talk) 01:02, 14 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

you seem to be getting tired or else you just practised the first section and left the second to chance. 206.188.48.198 19:53, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revise this recording! Seriously!!![edit]

  • Memorise the music. This will eliminate the need to turn pages

1st Movement[edit]

  • On the beginning chords, hold them longer.
  • In the descending scale in the first few measures, put more emphasis into it
  • Create more contrast in the chords following that scale
  • Wait longer on the last measure before the downwards chromatic scale
  • Faster on the Allegro con brio section (half-note = ca 144 at least)
  • Check some of your notes; they are not right.
  • Way more emphasis on the notes in the end
  • Last two notes- LOUDER!!!
  • Practise the last major section

2nd Movement[edit]

  • Start softer
  • Don't start rushing
  • Adagio cantabile - make the right hand upper notes sing more!!!
  • At the first B section - consider pedal and no staccato or mezzo staccato
  • Count!
  • Not so fast on the ornaments
  • Triplets - Make sure they are on the beat and not played as eighth notes
  • No arpeggiated chords
  • When the triplet rhythm gets to the E major, consider going a tad bit faster
  • Get the low notes in the triplet section - They are VERY important
  • Triplets in the main theme have to have a waltz-like rhythm
  • Tricky rhythms in the last bit - work those out
  • The last notes could be held even longer

Tempo stabilization executed on work.

I could record a new version of this if you want. CommonMaster (talk) 22:02, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
