The copyright holder would normally be the painter's child, not the painter's nephew. Besides, the painting was probably shown outside Commons before being uploaded here, so we need OTRS permission. Stefan4 (talk) 00:12, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, while it is perfectly plausible that a nephew may inherit the copyright, it would be wise to have the statement in writing at OTRS.--Sphilbrick (talk) 13:01, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
