Nationality[edit]

Nationality using {{#if: {{{nationality|}}}| {{Nationality|1={{{nationality}}}|2=m}} {{lc:{{int:wm-license-artwork-artist}}}} does not work well. For instance the word order is wrong in French and Spanish and makes the text almost unintelligible. Beside, the word "artist" may look a bit weird for most books and non-artistic artifacts. I think the simplest solution is to provide a region name between brackets (as is currently the case) or a nationality between brackets (I dont think there is much difference between these two solutions). --Zolo (talk) 19:15, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How about current version. I am just trying to avoid having to manually convert strings like "French" to "France" or "Laotian" to "Laos". --Jarekt (talk) 20:13, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Better, yes, though I would prefer without "artist". How is it that you can detect files that should use {{Anonymous}}, but not convert adjectives to noun ? I can edit the creator Google doc if it helps.--Zolo (talk) 20:25, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I stopped using nationality and I will try to correct places I am currently using it and retire it. --Jarekt (talk) 14:04, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
