|Picture of the day|
|World Water Day is an annual event celebrated on March 22. The day focuses attention on the importance of fresh water and advocates for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This day was first formally proposed in Agenda 21 of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro. In 1993, the first World Water Day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly and since, each year focuses on a different issue. - Some of the images that I've uploaded may be edits to images from others so check the image page for the original author and attribute the work to them as appropriate.
- The above is just so that you're complying with the licenses' attribution clauses as far as I am concerned. But I am not a lawyer nor is this legal advice. The licenses may require more and there may be other legal concerns so consult with a lawyer. See also Commons:General disclaimer.
- If you use one of my images outside of Wikipedia, I'd be curious (and vain) to know about it, but this not a requirement for using the images.
