All these works are tagged as "Copyright © : ALL RIGHTS RESERVED", but in reality a large amount of them are in the public domain, apparently Musée Annam IS THE OPPOSITE of Manhhai, who license washes all of his work on Flickr (also known as "Flickrwashing"). This makes it impossible to import free works using Flickr2Commons because they are incorrectly tagged as being "unfree".

@Great Brightstar: , sure, I'll take a look at it, TTXVA has a lot of useful information. Unfortunately the only person that was actively importing from there was Musée Annam and their socks, so a lot of uploads and additions based on this website were deleted for "sockpuppetry" rather than factual incorrectness. By the way, thank you for all your work with improving flags and coats of arms, I often see your name in file upload histories of files and you often improve them.

@Great Brightstar: , I could actually open the link on my Microsoft Lumia 950 (which is fortunate because. I'm not really experienced with writing articles about national anthems so you can write that article if you wish, once it is launched I can try to expand it using additional sources. Anyhow, a much more interesting link (FOR ME, AT LEAST) I found was this:

Unfortunately no captures of it seem to be live, which is a shame as it could have given us more information about the historical coats of arms and emblems of Vietnam. Note that the website isn't universally correct, it just manages to host a lot of useful information with some information that requires more research, it is also the website that spread the "flags of Vietnamese dynasties" bullshit. --Donald Trung (talk) 08:57, 6 July 2021 (UTC)

I searched for any information related to this, but couldn't find much, other than this:

Attempting to find archives from this website makes me realise how much of a shame it is that so much of it has disappeared without any archives.

Copying it from "my" enwiki talk page, I prefer to hold the discussion here as I don't seem to get many notifications there, maybe the e-mail system is broken or something. Sometimes it works for months without issue, other times I don't receive anything for months either. Enseigne Algérienne (1848 - 1910).

"Enseigne naval du département français d'Algérie" entre 1848 et 1910. Vers 1848, il a été créé une enseigne spéciale pour les navires algériens, rappelant la tradition des bandes horizontales, avec les couleurs de la France. Drapeau parfois utilisé durant le protectorat français sur la Tunisie vers la fin du 19e siècle*. Un supplément illustré du "Petit Journal" du Dimanche 24 Juillet 1904 montre le drapeau lors de la visite du Bey à Paris. D'ailleurs, en 1925, une proposition formelle aurait été faite pour officialiser ce drapeau, mais aucune action ne fut prise. Le drapeau était entièrement rouge avec un drapeau français en canton et possédait en son milieu, un cercle blanc où figurait une étoile à cinq branches entourée d’un croissant rouge.

"Pavillon chérifien de commerce" du protectorat français du Maroc entre 1919 et 1946. Il a été officialisé par le Dahir (= décret) du 31 Mars 1919 puis modifié par celui du 1er Septembre 1923 de l'Article 41 du code chérifien de commerce maritime*. Le pavillon était rouge, portant au centre un sceau de Salomon à cinq branches de couleur verte et enfin un drapeau français placé en canton.

  • AutoWikiBrowser is a tool to make repetitive tasks easier. It now uses JSON. Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage has moved to Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPageJSON and Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/Config. Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage/Version has moved to Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/CheckPage/VersionJSON. The tool will eventually be configured on the wiki so that you don't have to wait until the new version to add templates or regular expression fixes. [1]

Problems

  • InternetArchiveBot helps saving online sources on some wikis. It adds them to Wayback Machine and links to them there. This is so they don't disappear if the page that was linked to is removed. It currently has a problem with linking to the wrong date when it moves pages from archive.is to web.archive.org. [2]

Changes later this week

  • The tool to find, add and remove templates will be updated. This is to make it easier to find and use the right templates. It will come to the first wikis on 7 July. It will come to more wikis later this year. [3][4]
  • There is no new MediaWiki version this week.

Future changes

  • Some Wikimedia wikis use Flagged Revisions or pending changes. It hides edits from new and unregistered accounts for readers until they have been patrolled. The auto review action in Flagged Revisions will no longer be logged. All old logs of auto-review will be removed. This is because it creates a lot of logs that are not very useful. [5]

Hallo @Donald Trung: , ik zag dat je mij hebt gepingd. Ik was afgelopen maand weinig actief, deels door een verbouwing en deels door het overlijden van mijn kat Snowy. De achtergebleven kat kan niet zonder een soortgenoot in huis, dus is er inmiddels een opvolger. Ook dat beestje vraagt aandacht. Om op je vraag aan mij terug te komen: helaas, ik heb het boek niet in mijn bezit en ik weet niet zeker waar ik het zou kunnen raadplegen. Ik houd het zeker in gedachten. @Quistnix: , wat erg om te horen (lezen)! En ik weet al hoe erg je je voelde toen je andere kat overleed. Ik heb zelf in het verleden katten gehad (en erop (langdurig) opgepast) dus begrijp wel dat katten net als mensen aan eenzaamheid kunnen lijden.
Ik begrijp het, als het een makkelijk boek was om te vinden had ik je er niet over lastig tr vallen.
Trouwens, vandaag schreef ik dit:

I stumbled across the article while reading an offline book and while researching it found that they were systematically eliminated in Mainland China during their anti-"Four Olds" campaign as well as their unique history in other places. I will gradually start expanding the "Bamboo wife" article, but just because it doesn't cite any sources today doesn't mean that it won't cite any sources tomorrow. Dit is gewoon een algemeen iets met Wikipedia (ongeacht de taaleditie) en Wikimedia Commons, het aantal lemma's over een onderwerp reflecteert de interesses van de bijdragende vrijwilligers, ik schrijf graag over Chinese kèpèng-munten, maar als ik dat niet doet wordt er vaak jarenlang niets over geschreven, ik begon met procrastineren en ging toen over andere onderwerpen schrijven, in plaats van dat ik nu over de kèpèng-munten van de Qing-Dynastie schrijf ben ik met de vlaggen en wapens van Viëtnam bezig.   • @Quistnix: , oh ja, ik heb nu het boek Gegoten Chinese Amuletten van David Hartill in huis. Ik heb hem vorige week ontvangen van mijn zuster als cadeautje gekregen, ik heb geen Amazon.com-account en ben het niet van plan om er (ooit) één aan te maken, maar bij Bol.com was 'ie duurder, mijn zuster (wonende te Viëtnam) heeft hem gewoon naar mijn adres laten verschepen en ontving hem. Persoonlijk wil ik Bol.com steunen omdat het een Nederlands bedrijf is en ik vaa heb gezien wat Amazon.com met markten doet, eerst (1st) komt het op een nieuwe markt en gaat het dezelfde producten voor lagere prijzen verkopen dan de inheemse onlinewinkels, dan wanneer deze failliet zijn gaan de prijzen van Amazon.com hoger dan die van de competitie überhaupt eerst waren (de zogenaamde "loss-leader strategy"). Maar ik ga ook niet meer betalen voor Bol.com. 😅
Ik heb ook het boek Gegoten Chinese Munten (ook van David Hartill) en heb bijna 100% (honderd procent) van het boek 📙 op Wikipedia gezet (natuurlijk in een manier dat ik het informatie ℹ goed verwoordelijk zodat het geen auteursrechtsschennis is), ik moet nu alleen nog maar de Qing-Dynastie doen. Ik ben van plan om in de verre toekomst alle Chinese amuletten op Wikipedia te zetten met behulp van het boek Gegoten Chinese Amuletten van David Hartill, maar wil eerst al m'n andere wikiwerken en wikiwerkjes afmaken.
