Hi[edit]

I left reply on Graphic lab. Thanks again. -- Bojan  Talk  09:09, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just a little question...[edit]

I noticed that you edited the Flag of Oman, [[1]], I would just like to ask you to re-edit the flag in order to look as close as possible to the official version of the flag (with the official coat of arms). [[2]]

Thank you.

Governors' Standards[edit]

Hey mate, thanks so much on them, I REALLLLY appreciate it, they look excellent, I wish I had your skills, thanks again Fry1989 (talk) 19:57, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, no that you mention it, I do have one flag I'd really appreciate if you could make, and I think it should be easy for you. I'm still awaiting Alabama's Gubernatorial flag, and I need an SVG of the Ohio State Seal before I can request the next Governor's flags, but in the meantime, if you could create the flag of the Tennessee General Assembly, that'd be awesome. Here's the link: http://www.crwflags.com/FOTW/images/u/us-tn-ga.gif. You can use this Flag as the base, although the ratio is 1:2, so a bit longer. As you can see, it has three red stars, and around the centre star it says "General Assembly of Tennessee", with a laurel, and what appears tobe a gavel over the star itself. Thanks if you can do it Fry1989 (talk) 00:50, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's excellent :) I actually discovered another Governor's flag, so I have 3 now that need uploading, although I still can't request Ohio's until there's an SVG of the State Seal. The two others though should be no problem for you if that's okay. This is Oklahoma's Governor Flag. Here is the SVG of the State Seal you'll need. For North Dakota, here is the link 11. You can get the Arrow Head shape from the National Park Service, and the fluer-de-lis from the flag of Quebec. Here is a bigger image of the Crest of Arrows. The motto says Strength From the Soil. Fry1989 (talk) 20:44, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks alot mate, I really appreciate it. I don't really have anything else to request, atleast until Ohio's Seal is SVG-available. I have given a list of SVG components on the Alabama Governor's Flag back on the Illustrations Improvement section, if you ever wanna take a second look at it. I thank you, and would call you a friend for the help you've given me :) Fry1989 (talk) 20:34, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hey :)[edit]

Thanks for taking on my presidential standards request, can't wait to see them. I plan on eventually requesting all important flags like presidential and other governmental flags to be SVG'd, but I know I gotta be patient :p Fry1989 (talk) 20:34, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

BTW, it looks like someone else just uploaded the one for the United Arab Emirates: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_the_President_of_the_United_Arab_Emirates.svg, but I'd like to ask you replace it with the NON 3-D arms on the request page, as 3-D most certainly doesn't happen on flags. Fry1989 (talk) 21:15, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
bugger, someone did the same thing with the flag of the Lieutenant-Governor of New Brunswick too, and it has since been deleted, IDK why though, all Canadian flags are PD. To be honest, it's times like this I find copyright and the like to be a really bother. I can provide you with a different version of the NWT Arms if you like, although they won't be SVG. Fry1989 (talk) 18:29, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hey :) Just checking up on ya, how are those Presidential Standards on coming? Fry1989 (talk) 21:39, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hey mate, you doing okay? Not heard from you in a while Fry1989 (talk) 19:41, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I understand, just glad you're okay :) Fry1989 (talk) 19:44, 3 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Coat of Arms of the National Party[edit]

Hi NikNaks93, can you move a little bit the star, is lightly descentered if you look the base it touchs the body of the axe, thanks for now. --Kineto007 (talk) 20:08, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you look carefully to the border of the 1st and 2nd flag of the left side you will notice that they have a straight edge, in comparison with the borders of the 1st and 2nd flags from the right that have a slightly "curved" edge instead of a straight one like it should be, can you fix it please? --Kineto007 (talk) 00:38, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The tips of the spears are not sharp enough, like in the original. And there are many more imperfections that should be corrected, like the lines in the axe body for example. Please do not change the color it's correct, and the suns too, thanks in advance. --Kineto007 (talk) 00:43, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hey[edit]

Thanks again so much for your help. I've actually had a bit of a backlog of roundels and a few other images that need to be corrected, but I didn't wanna overload the Graphic Lab page, so I've been requesting them slowly. Thanks to you I can now do the basic colour corrections myself, and leave the hard ones like that Ecuadorian Naval Roundel to the experts. :) Fry1989 (talk) 22:01, 1 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the offer :). I'm pretty happy to be able to change colours, it's shortened my backlog alot. I'm also poking around with some features, but I'll deffinately ask you for help if I need it. I'll still have some requests in the Graphic Lab as well, a few things will still be beyond my abilities. Fry1989 (talk) 21:11, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I got a bit of a problem. I'm trying to change the blue of this flag. Now, I've already changed it to the blue I want, but for some reason there's a part around the head of the Anchor that I can't change the colour of. Could you help me with that? Fry1989 (talk) 23:24, 3 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note to Self[edit]

Hey mate :)[edit]

Just checking in on ya, seeing how stuff is going. I bet you're pretty busy with stuff, can't wait for those flags though when you got the time :) I'm also gonna ask another user on here, Sodacan, who is realllly good with vector graphics, if he can take a look at the presidential flag of Turkmenistan, maybe he can work on the 5-headed eagle a bit. Fry1989 (talk) 21:29, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cuban Air force roundel[edit]

Dear Sir, can you help us to create Cuban fin flash? Also this image need to be modified to match an original image. --Kwasura (talk) 12:28, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the roundel as per the photo. Fry1989 (talk) 02:03, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

Hello! If you can convert these files (File:Znak.jpg, File:Znak1.jpg) to SVG format? and File:Флаг Российско-Американской торговой компании (1806 год).JPG.--Kolchak1923 (talk) 21:27, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey mate :)[edit]

How's those seals coming? Glad to have you back. Fry1989 (talk) 23:51, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi mate. You did reallly well on the Texan Governor's seal. However, the Governor's website has updated their graphic of the seal, and I was wondering if you could recolour it to match that, or if you don't wanna, if you'd be ok with me just recolouring it to match the State Seal. I just don't like how it looks in monocrome black. No issue with your skills, it just doesn't look right to me. Would either of those options be ok with you? Fry1989 (talk) 19:04, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
h screw it. Let's just leave it for now, I'll hunt for more sources. Nevermind :) Fry1989 (talk) 19:15, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
For the Connecticut Governor's seal, I found this file on Wikipedia-EN with an escalloped border as well. It doesn't have as many, but maybe you can use it as a base some how. Hope that helps :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Pennsylvania_State_University_seal.svg Fry1989 (talk) 19:50, 28 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
How's it going along mate? :) It's been 3 months, curious when you may have the time to finish. Fry1989 (talk) 23:20, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you intend to finish the other two seals? Fry1989 (talk) 02:08, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your map[edit]

Hello, after you modified the Syria protest map, I cant modify the text and dots in the image, I use inkscape. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 12:06, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I had to turn the text into paths for it to render correctly. If you want, I could mess around with it and see if there are any other alternatives, but I don't see any need to alter the text, so I didn't think it would be a problem. The dots should be editable, though, so I don't know what's wrong there. NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 16:36, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
For me, neither text or dots could be edited, everything including text must be able to be edited in case new villages and towns has to be added. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 18:58, 2 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you need to add a new town, you could simply add another text box and convert that to a path. I'll see if I can fix the dots, though. NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 15:15, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Alembic_for_distillation.png[edit]

Hi NikNaks93,

No, I do not have this file from Inkskape anymore... My hard drive crashed last year and it is part of what I lost, sorry. I noted the (new?) policy of .svg files though, and will produce those in the future. :-) Have a good day! gene.arboit (talk) 16:20, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File:Carbon 14 formation and decay.svg[edit]

Hello, Could you please fix the typographical error in equation #2. The carbon-14 should have a subscript 6 instead of 7, correct?

Thank you, David K

I'm not sure if the file is fixed, but could you check? Thanks for reporting the error! NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 10:41, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NikNaks93, Thank you for the prompt response. However, you changed the wrong carbon. I think all of the carbons should be:

146C (except, of course, the 14 is over the 6)

Flag Request[edit]

Ownership of Parliament diagrams[edit]

Hi, In May of last year, I worked on and uploaded to the commons several diagrams of the UK Parliament. I was recently reading the article on the House of Commons for some research and couldn't help but notice that my diagram is still there, albeit with a key added, however when I clicked on it to see who added it (you), I noticed that no reference was made to me being the original author. I have no issue with you altering these diagrams, indeed it improves it, but I would very much like it if you could give mention to me being the original author of the diagram.

I am referring to the file at the following URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Parliament2010UK.svg and your version at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:UK_Commons_Current_Composition.svg

I will post this on WikiPedia and the Wiki Commons

Thank you,

95jb14

Hi, thanks for amending it, it's fine now. I didn't want to come across rude, but I was just conscious that it was based on mine.
Thanks,

Seals work on Graphic Lab[edit]

Hey mate, got home from vacation, had a good time. Did you happen to have time to work on any of the seals you took on in the Lab? Fry1989 eh? 05:48, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Still waiting. Fry1989 eh? 23:02, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, busy again! Should be able to do some soon. NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 20:55, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Looking forward to it :) Have fun Fry1989 eh? 21:17, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, nice to see you free for the holidays, been pretty busy eh? Anyhow, no pressure, but there are still some seal requests in the graphic lab if you're interested. Fry1989 eh? 23:00, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, just getting back into the swing before tackling some more complicated requests.  :) NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 23:06, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Nice. I'm sure I'm not the only one glad to see you back ;) Hope you're enjoying the holidays as much as I am. Fry1989 eh? 23:19, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

State flag Serbia and Montenegro request[edit]

hello i would like to ask you if you could make a state flag of Serbia and Montenegro with the coat of arms in the centre? Drax90 (talk) 14:52, 28 September 2011 (UTC) Here is the example:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_Serbia_and_Montenegro.svg it need the eagle in the centre like on this standard flag:http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Standard_of_High_Defence_Council_Member_of_Serbia_and_Montenegro.svg[reply]

Could you add w:OSCE, w:NATO and w:UN into the mix as well?

  • Practically everyone in the mix is an OSCE member.
  • Very few EU members are non-NATO members.
  • Granted UN would include everyone except Holy see/Vatican but that alone is relevant IMHO.

Also, NATO has partnerships which in my view would greatly benefit from a separate Euler explaining it.

-- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 09:42, 18 December 2011 (UTC)

Additionally I have been working on an ambitious template structure at w:Wikipedia:International membership templates which intends to be a historic over view of countries' membership to organization. Take a look when you have time but mind that it isn't complete. :) -- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 09:47, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Absolutely! I'd love to help out with both. Feel free to send me an email and we can discuss some specs.  :) NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 12:40, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I emailed you to start the discussion :) -- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 12:59, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
Let me know when you are available. :) -- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 17:15, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Okay, then. Drop me an email when you're ready to refresh my memory about the Eulers.  :) NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 17:57, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am ready :D -- とある白い猫 ちぃ? 20:58, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

Supranational European Bodies[edit]

Supranational European Bodies

Hi NikNaks,

since I don't have the ability to edit svg images and you are the last editor of this picture, I'd like to point out that both Switzerland and Liechtenstein are Schengencountries. I did edit the png version.

Regards, Richardw (talk) 17:50, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again,
I saw your change. You missed Switzerland (just like I did at first) which is in the Schengen zone for a little over three years now. Richardw (talk) 19:46, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Switzerland is already in the (red) Schengen area already, is it not? NikNaks talk - gallery - wikipedia 19:48, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You're right... my mistake. I erroneously placed it in the EEA as well. Sorry. Will correct my mistake on the png version. Richardw (talk) 19:53, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
