RTL languages[edit]

{{Editprotected}} The template has "You may press "{{int:savearticle}}" again if you like", which in RTL languages shows "strangely" as:

"You may press "שמירת הדף" again if you like"

To fix this please add "direction:ltr;" to the table. Thanks, Eran (talk) 06:34, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed with MediaWiki:Abusefilter-warning-otrs/he for he. --Steinsplitter (talk) 07:55, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Steinsplitter, there are other languages (fa, ar), with the same problem which I don't know and can't translate. Eran (talk) 14:12, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Adding ltr is causing problems for all non-ltr langs. --Steinsplitter (talk) 14:43, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
As I showed above, NOT adding ltr cause problems. Please see the above example (adding bold). Eran (talk) 22:09, 8 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How to localize it?[edit]

{{Editprotected}} Maybe needs transclude translatable template, with autotranslate? --Kaganer (talk) 16:21, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is localized using subpages in MW namespace. I can move it out from mw namespace if you like. --Steinsplitter (talk) 16:23, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Steinsplitter, Thanks, please move MediaWiki talk:Abusefilter-warning-otrs/ru to MediaWiki:Abusefilter-warning-otrs/ru. --Kaganer (talk) 21:26, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
✓ Done Thanks for translating! --Steinsplitter (talk) 09:17, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Crop Tool error[edit]

When using the crop tool for this image [location], I am getting the following error:

Upload failed! [api] Received error: abusefilter-warning : ⧼abusefilter-warning-otrs⧽

Any idea how to fix this? I have made quite a few other crops with this tool. --Andrewssi2 (talk) 08:00, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

user:Andrewssi2, I got the same error, which I think was caused by the {{PermissionOTRS}} tag in the licensing declarations of the input file. See Commons talk:CropTool#abusefilter-warning. Verbcatcher (talk) 23:59, 1 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Note that I added {{PermissionOTRS}} to the list of templates that CropTool should not copy over to new pages now. That should fix this issue. – Danmichaelo (δ) 12:40, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Omitted word[edit]

{{Editprotected}} "Be" is ommited.

"should only added by" --> "should only be added by". 4nn1l2 (talk) 06:36, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done -- User: Perhelion 22:42, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unintended side-effect[edit]

{{Edit request}} This filter's intended behaviour is to prevent adding OTRS tags to pages by non-OTRS members. However, as I experienced now, it also triggers if you merely try to link to an OTRS ticket when starting a deletion request via AjaxQuickDelete, see my thread there. My deletion request included the text maybe you can add this new information to the [https://ticket.wikimedia.org/otrs/index.pl?Action=AgentTicketZoom&TicketNumber=2016031810015237 OTRS ticket] as I don't have OTRS access which apparently triggered the filter and caused an error message (making it impossible to start the nomination using the script, until I removed the link). Maybe the filter can be modified in a way that this no longer happens? Gestumblindi (talk) 16:09, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Gestumblindi:  Not done not an edit request for this page, COM:AFFP would be better. Looks like ticket.wikimedia.org was added to the exclude list by User:Krd in 2016. I think it is still possible to use [[ticket:]] links, by the way. --AntiCompositeNumber (talk) 19:39, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Outdated link[edit]

{{Ep}} Please change the link for text "VRT members" to [[Special:GlobalUsers/vrt-permissions|VRT members]], thanks. Stang 21:51, 9 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

✓ Done Thanks for the fix. —RP88 (talk) 00:02, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
