Extent of control/contested, Luhansk oblast, per raion[edit]

Hi! I saw you reverted my update to this file. My idea to the update was that those three raions all border to Russia, and various sources (Segodnya and Unian are only two of them) all conclude that tank, Grad and RPG battles have going on in the border areas for the past couple of weeks. So saying that the forces of the People's Republic keep control of all those border areas seem like a stretch. At least to me. How about this map, essentially saying the same thing? What do you think? Best of wishes.--Paracel63 (talk) 18:49, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I think that now it would be better to wait not much until the situation in this area is cleared up completely! As the situation there is constantly changing. Regards! Hanibal911 (talk) 19:10, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks or the answer. I'm hoping for a clearer picture soon. BTW, did you try to contact the editors of the other map? The very best of wishes.--Paracel63 (talk) 21:16, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

East Ukraine conflict map[edit]

Hi Hannibal911. I think this is the first time I talk with you, so, nice to meet you. I recently uploaded a map of the 2014 insurgency in Donbass with latin characters. I will update this map every day and if you have time or interest, let me invite you to fix or update it. Cheers.--Turkmenistan (talk) 00:41, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed on the the map that Donetsk and Luhansk are re-connected, but the liveuamap, NSDC map, and others doesn't say so.--Arbutus the tree (talk) 06:37, 9 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

Hello, Hanibal911. If you have a disagreement about something. Please do not edit war, and especially do not revert to it as "vandalism", as this is both incorrect and just likely to cause friction between users. This is counter-productive and we will not be able to sort out the truth from propaganda if you simply act as if the other side has no right to speak but refuse to provide your own reasons. Please take any problems you have to the talk page and calmly point them out.

(FYI I specifically wrote an essay for this type of scenario: w:WP:DV). Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 22:59, 7 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Situation in East Ukraine[edit]

Hi! Thanks for your info, I'll try to use it on the map. But I need sources to change the status of Zhdanivka town, could you help me?. Regards, --HCPUNXKID (talk) 13:36, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

About the map[edit]

I've already reached 3 reverts, so today I can't revert it anymore. According to the sources you've provided to me and according to http://liveuamap.com/ (the official ATO site of Ukraine), correct the map if you think it's appropriate, providing sources, please! Today, I can't do anything else. Mondolkiri1 (talk) 13:09, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Concerning to the map and your suggestions[edit]

I praise them a lot, though I can observe that you're a pro-Russian. I'm neutral, though pro self-determination. But being from Estonia, I praise you really a lot, because I know what my former PM (Barroso) is able to concede to any govt that is glad to supress the freedom of expression of anyone who lives in an EU country defending a policy that's not his own. He's portuguese and he has fucked all of us, just to satisfy her boss, Angela Merkel. Well, here, I'm not satisfying Mr. Putin, Mr. Barroso or Ms. Merkerl wishes, I'm just painting the facts (in this case without " ", since it's it's actually what I'm doing). New map soon.Mondolkiri1 (talk) 03:19, 19 October 2014 (Lisbon/Dublin/London/Casablanca Tima)

Re:Syria map[edit]

Hi Hanibal, I've just heard the bad news. I feel so bad about u being blocked, but sadly it doesnt look strange to me. Seems that in WP today it doesnt matter if you try to stick to the rules and avoid double standards and bad-faith editions by users whose only goal is to promote their POV's instead of trying to make an encyclopedia in a collaborative way. Moreover, perhaps if a group of coordinated like-minded editors decide that your edits are damaging the purity of some "agit-prop articles" (articles wich have been turned in some kind of propaganda leaflets, using only partisan non-neutral sources, blanking properly sourced content based on neutral and/or reliable sources, etc...). Sadly, I had a bad experience last year with that type of "one-way editors gangs" on the Ukrainian issue, leaving me with a unjust 6 month block. The result is that hardly I have made any edit on the Ukrainian issue since the block finishes, wich I suppose was what goal of that ultranationalistic editors, leaving that articles in their hands so they can imitate Joseph Goebbels, heh :-( I will try to made that edits, but the Syrian map seems to be fucked up again, one of the last discussions was about opening a section on the talk page FOR EVERY EDIT!! Can u believe it? It was (or is) extremely difficult (or imposible in some cases) to make some editors understand that they must bring sources to made an edit, so... Above all that, thank you for your help and good faith, so anything u need call me. Regards,--HCPUNXKID (talk) 15:26, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are right in all! Also I was blocked admin which earlier cooperated with big Vandals Sopher99 and Alhanuty. But Sopher was blocked and Alhanuty and some other (pro-rebels) editors when after a long time they eventually decided that I to not let them distort the map I was in a strange way on the basis of the private investigation blocked. And for now of the main obstacle on their way was removed and now they can easily distort map in favor rebels or ISIS. So now I can no longer stop them! But I hope that other editors like you will be able to stop them. Good luck! And thank you for your support! --Hanibal911 (talk) 09:33, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again, I would like to made that changes, but POV-pusher vandal Alhanuty has accussed me of being your proxy, so I cannot do any change suggested by you as I would be in risk of being blocked by one of that growing in numbers partisan administrators. Sadly, I've seen (and suffered) in Ukraine-related articles that coordinated strategy between some editors & administrators of blocking other users who (with proper sources) oppose their POV-driven distortion of reality in articles, maps, infoboxes, etc... Its a bloody shame, some editors & administrators would do anything in order to impose their personal POV's, as they dont give a fuck about this being a collaborative neutral encyclopaedia instead of a personal agit-prop blog. Now I understand why so many users had abandoned editing WP...--HCPUNXKID (talk) 00:12, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
