Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Please do not overwrite files

I noticed that you uploaded a file using the name File:SHOGI Professional Shintaro Saito.jpg. A file by this name already existed on Commons. Overwriting an existing file should not be done except when making minor, uncontroversial corrections, so the file has been restored to its previous version. If the file that you attempted to upload is within our project scope and is in the public domain or published under a free license, please upload it again under a different name. Thank you. Delete template on file talk pages

Thanks. I read "Commons:Deletion requests/Mass deletion request", and did what is shown in "4. Notify the uploader(s)", but it seems to be unneeded, as you say.--Pooh456 (talk) 03:08, 8 December 2019 (UTC)

“Notify the uploader(s)” means adding a notification template or posting a more personal message on their user talk page to let them know you’ve nominated one of their uploads for deletion; it doesn’t mean add a notification to the file’s talk page. Since you uploaded most of the photos being discussed, you don’t really need to notify yourself; you should, however, notify any other users if you’re nominating any of their uploads for deletion.

In case you’re not aware, Commons is a multi-language project and there are non-English language versions of pretty much all of its pages; so, if you find the English too confusing or too difficult to understand, scroll to the top of the page and look for a link to its corresponding Japanese version.
