- Question I know that aerial photographs are challenging, but why are the upper parts of the photo so much blurred? --Tuxyso (talk) 18:37, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
- I am not a theoretical expert on aerial photograph, but I guess it has to do DOF, height, angle and distortion. This image is not downsampled, only cropped. The reason I still nominated picture is that the entire main subject (peninsula) is sharp. But above all, I nominated it because it is imo a beautiful image of a very central part of a European capital and with a high EV (with several famous landmarks, including the National Museum and also illustrates a characteristic of Stockholm, the water! Stockholm is situated on fourteen islands). The fantastic winter weather with sun contributes also to a WOW imo.--ArildV (talk) 19:02, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

- Neutral Pros: good lighting and aerial view; Cons: sharpness and composition (I miss something here that draws my attention, maybe some lines, the bottom left crop is also improvable IMO) Poco2 09:06, 8 February 2014 (UTC)
