- Info The vignette / dark corners at the left and right bottom are of natural origin from surronding trees. IMHO black/white is better here because it attracts the attention on the water and its flow

- Support A good idea to convert this image into bw. Colors wouldn't help here at all! We should do that more often anyway... --Martin Falbisoner (talk) 06:25, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

- Oppose B/W does work here in terms of drawing attention to the fountain. But the subject itself is pretty ordinary and I don't see much of "wow". --Dey.sandip (talk) 06:13, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- Please define "pretty ordinary". Is it really a reason for opposing? On FP the question is how any motive is photographed and if the composition is somehow eye-catching. Viewing my nomination on 1920x1024 fullscreen it is eye-catching enough for me that I decided to nominate it. Look at this FP detail shot of a fountain - it is much more ordinary than my motive but nonetheless very good. If ordinary means to you "can be seen everywhere" you are wrong with your assesment, because this special water game curling through the whole park only exists at the MüGa-Park, see also [1] (only in German) --Tuxyso (talk) 07:21, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- Tuxyso, I understand your concern. Unfortunately, it does not make sense for me, to compare this image with an old FP. It I was there at the time of voting, I would have not supported that either. The definition of "wow" is a very subjective thing that you already know. I can't really quantify that. --Dey.sandip (talk) 14:14, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- Probably I've misunderstood you. The term "the subject itself is pretty ordinary" as justification for your opposing vote bothered me. I have no problem if my photo (composition + motive + quality + light + ...) does not attract you (in short: no Wow) as it was now clarified in your last statement. --Tuxyso (talk) 14:20, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
NeutralI agree with Tuxyso, here this is not Featured Subjects Candidate, it's the page for Featured Images Candidate.Me, I don't support because I prefear the colored images--Christian Ferrer (talk) 17:04, 28 August 2013 (UTC) Support I change my vote --Christian Ferrer (talk) 17:59, 29 August 2013 (UTC)

- Support Photographing "ordinary subjects" to FP standard is hard. I like the symmetry. Colin (talk) 12:28, 29 August 2013 (UTC)
