[edit]

  • Nomination RORO ferry from the Black Ball Line, MV COHO, leaving the harbor at Port Angeles, WA USA, heading north to Victoria, BC Canada. --GRDN711 20:52, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
  • Decline
  •  Oppose Sorry, for me not sharp enough --Michielverbeek 21:25, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Comment @Michielverbeek: It is cropped to focus on the ship but did look good to me @ 300%. Still, I have uploaded an alternate frame that you might like better. Please take a look. --GRDN711 04:49, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Comment I took a look again, but still an oppose for me. I also agree to Augustgeyler and Nino Verde --Michielverbeek 20:18, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Weak oppose Very good light and composition. But the back of the ship is definitely not sharp. --August Geyler (talk) 07:54, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Weak support the advantages predominate. Don't like the filename. --Hillopo2018 13:26, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Comment @Hillopo2018: Thanks for the catch on the file name. Will get it changed after the nomination closes. --GRDN711 20:58, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Oppose The back of ship is blurred. Also sky is noisy from my point of view --Nino Verde (talk) 16:09, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
Total: 1 support (excluding the nominator), 3 oppose → Declined   --Augustgeyler 17:22, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

File:San_Giorgio_Maggiore_from_the_Hall_of_the_Great_Council_window._Doge's_Palace,_Venice.jpg

[edit]

  • Nomination San Giorgio Maggiore from the Hall of the Great Council window. Doge's Palace, Venice --Ввласенко 07:14, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
  • Promotion
  •  Support Good quality. --Cayambe 17:17, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Horizon line is straight at left and tilted at right side of photo --Nino Verde 14:29, 16 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Comment This is not the first time I have encountered the fact that the coastline, which can have an arbitrary direction, is considered the horizon line. The horizon line is not visible in this photo, only the coastline is visible. But, in this case, its direction does not matter, so to avoid discussion, I made the coastline horizontal. Ok? -- Ввласенко 07:08, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Comment I agree that the coast line is not the horizon and it is therefore not (always) straight. I confirm my Support of this image. --Cayambe 09:49, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
  •  Support --Moroder 13:35, 19 January 2022 (UTC)
Total: 2 support (excluding the nominator), 1 oppose → Promoted   --Augustgeyler 17:39, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
