Description
Deutsch: Die „Kogge“ in Frankfurt (Oder) ist ein Werk von Friedmann Klos und wurde 1979 im Stadtteil Hansa Nord aufgestellt. Der Sandstein stellt eine Kogge mit aufgeblähten Segeln dar. Der Fuß des Werkes trägt die Inschrift „Frankfurt an der Oder — Mitglied der Hanse vom Vierzehnten bis Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts“. Den ersten Werkvertrag schloss der Künstler 1974 mit der Stadt, ein weiterer 1977 der festlegte dass eine „zeichenhafte plastische Lösung für die historische Beziehung Frankfurts zu Hanse“ gestaltet werden sollte. Der Künstler erhielt 18.000 Mark für das Werk. [1]
