Summary
[edit]DescriptionColumba livia Baltasound Shetland 1.jpg |
Deutsch: Felsentaube
English: Rock Dove, flock at Baltasound, Shetland, UK. Rock Doves are the wild ancestors of the Feral Pigeons of towns and cities. The wild, native population in Britain is now restricted to the wilder areas of the north and west, and the population is gradually becoming diluted by domestic genes, although all of the birds in this flock show pure characters. |
