Description
Deutsch: Erstentwurf der Denkmalgruppe 32 zu Kaiser Wilhelm I. (1797–1888) für die ehemalige Berliner Siegesallee. Der Entwurf fiel bei dem Auftraggeber und Wilhelms I. Enkelsohn Wilhelm II. durch und kam so nicht zur Ausführung. Die Nebenfiguren zeigen Helmuth von Moltke (links) und Otto von Bismarck. Bildhauer: Reinhold Begas, 1899.
English: Non-realized first model of monument group № 32 for the former Siegesallee in Berlin, commemorating William I, German Emperor. The design was rejected by project's commissioner, William I's grandson William II. The bust on the left commemorates Helmuth von Moltke the Elder, and the bust on the right Otto von Bismarck. Sculptor: Reinhold Begas, 1899.
