Summary[edit]
DescriptionHardwick Street, EC1 (geograph 4300332).jpg |
English: Hardwick Street, EC1. George Hardwick was the Clerk of the New River Company in the mid-17th C, and this street forms the southern boundary of the New River Head site, which is to the right in the view. The nearest building on the site is the Remus Building, a former water meter testing building, dating from 1922-4, that has now been converted to apartments. Beyond that is a purpose apartment building known as the Hydra Building, built after the New River Head site was sold for residential redevelopment. |
