Norsk bokmål: Den første norske squadron som kom i virksomhet i april 1941 på Island med Northrop sjøfly og senere Catalina flybåter flyttet for en tid siden til Storbritannia, hvor den har fått Sunderland fly til disposisjon. Siden starten har denne squadron i Coastal Command eskortert mange hundre konvoyer og rettet harde slag mot tyske u-båter og fly. Med sine langtrekkende flybåter - Sunderland har en aksjonsradius på inntil 2900 miles - er de norske flygerne nå midt oppe i det tilintetgjørende slag mot u-båtene. This image is in the public domain in Norway because images not considered to be "works of art" become public domain 50 years after creation, provided that more than 15 years have passed since the photographer's death or the photographer is unknown.
This is according to § 23 in the Norwegian Åndsverkloven.
