Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen ist ein in Silber und Rot senkrecht gespaltener Schild mit zwei am Spitz stehenden Rauten in Rot und Silber. Die Herkunft des Wappens ist nicht vollständig geklärt. Vermutlich symbolisieren die Rauten zwei von der Salzwirtschaft rührende Schiffchen. Die Farben Rot und Weiß stehen für die Herrschaftsfarben der bei Ulm ansässigen Grafen von Helfenstein, von denen Stiftsgründer Erzbischof Gebhard abstammt.
