[edit]"format" parameter has the following values are defined in the calling templates:
For translate format titles need place into localized template "LOC-meta/<ISO-code>" following code instead of {{{format|image}}} available in the {{LOC-meta/en}} (replace text in <> to translated text):
{{#switch:{{{format}}} |calligraphy|calligraphic fragment = <translated phrase for "calligraphic fragment"> |map=<translated word for "map"> |audio|music|audio fragment = <translated phrase for "audio fragment"> |video = <translated phrase for "video fragment" or "video" or "videofile"> |serial publication = <translated phrase for "serial publication"> |image|#default= <translated word for "image"> }}

Template image
[edit]In Template:LOC-meta/layout Library of Congress square logo.png is used. It's description says that it is the "2018 Library of Congress logo". Since it is just a plain textlogo how about converting the image to SVG and maybe give the image a transparent background? --D-Kuru (talk) 00:41, 11 January 2020 (UTC)
Proposal: do not urlencode
[edit]See Template_talk:LOC-image#ID_with_slash. Some LOC IDs have slashes in them, which are being mangled by urlencode. Wikiacc (talk) 18:27, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support. I don't think any of the characters used in the IDs require escaping, and it appears they do sometimes use one character (a slash) in their IDs which they actually do want to be URL path segments. Carl Lindberg (talk) 18:35, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
