Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer que Wiki Loves Earth 2020 en Algérie est désormais ouvert. Wiki Loves Earth (WLE) est un concours annuel de photographie international qui se tient tout au long des mois de mai et de juin, organisé dans le monde entier par les chapitres Wikimedia, des groupes et des bénévoles locaux de Wikipédia. Les participants prennent des photos du patrimoine naturel local et de paysages dans leurs pays, puis les téléversent sur Wikimedia Commons. Il existe dans chaque pays participant une compétition distincte, organisée par une équipe locale, pouvant avoir des calendriers, des règlements, des prix, etc. légèrement différents.

Study shows Wiki Love Africa recruitment makes a difference

Hello BRAHIM DJELLOUL

We are writing because you have participated in the Wiki Loves Africa (WLA) photo competition in the past. Results have been published and winning pictures may be seen here !

This year WLA partnered with the research organization CAT Lab (previously CivilServant) to help us evaluate the effectiveness of one of our recruitment efforts. You may or may not have received a message on your user talk page encouraging you to participate again in this year's competition.

We are excited to share with you their study found our recruitment message was a success and may have resulted in as many as 2,000 additional contributed photos. We hope you agree this is great news for Africa and its representation across Wikimedia. You can read more about the study and the results in this blog post.
