Hubble images[edit]
Hello! Thank you for contributing to Commons. I've noticed you've been changing a lot of licenses for Hubble images, and I'm guessing it's based on which site the image was obtained from. This is incorrect. Remember that the NASA, ESA, and STScI websites share a lot of images, so we cannot base the license on the site. NASA-led studies will have credit lines that read "NASA/ESA", "NASA, ESA" or "NASA/Hubble, ESA". ESA-led studies will have credit lines that read "ESA/NASA", "ESA, NASA", or "ESA/Hubble, NASA". So, the license is based on who led the study. I hope that clarifies things for you. Please let me know if you have any questions. — Huntster (t @ c) 02:47, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
