Dubious metadata on recent uploads
[edit]Many of your recent uploads look to me like their information might be incorrect. Some of this is serious enough that the files are likely to be deleted if you don't correct them. Specifically, all of your uploads yesterday and today show the date of upload as the date of creation and list you as the author, however
- The subject of File:Alliance française lecturer Madame Guérin portraying a praying Jeanne d'Arc.jpg died in 1961 according to en:Madame Guérin.
- The description of File:Two sides to Madagascar, during Madame Guérin's time - French and Malagasy.jpg says "When Madame Guérin was living in teaching in Madagascar", which was between 1897 and 1909.
- The substantial trees in File:La Mairie (Town Hall), Vallon, Ardèche département, France.jpg were not present four years ago for File:Hôtel de ville de Vallon-Pont-d'Arc - 52.jpg.
- The camera used to take File:A 2016 New Zealand Remembrance Poppy.jpg recorded the date as 27th April 2016.
- The camera used to take File:An Australian Remembrance Poppy, c1941.jpg recorded the date as 25th April 2017.
- The camera used to take File:A 1921 French-made British Legion cotton Remembrance Poppy.jpg recorded the date as 9th June 2015.
You can correct these by editing the file pages to put the correct author and/or date in. For the historical pictures, if you didn't take them you also need to explain why they're in the public domain or otherwise freely licensed. --bjh21 (talk) 16:30, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
