Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

since this photo was released under CC-3.0, you may use it in any way you like as long as you respect the license and credit the author. That's what the license is for. :) However, I should stress that I am not the author : I just uploaded the picture, and the original author sent his authorization. Hello. If the rest of the journal is under one license and the image is under another one, I don't see where the problem could be. Is there a reason why the license of one specific document would affect the rest of your journal ? Anyway, I'm not an expert on these matters so you should ask to your colleagues at the journal : you probably have someone who is knowledgeable on legal matters.
