What is the basis for the license you are claiming? Your linked source is just the image itself, so it doesn't say anything about a license. If the source does indicate this license, then you need to link the page with the image and an indication of license, not just the image itself. - Jmabel ! talk 05:08, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
- https://news.nd.edu/ in general gives no indication of a free license. It says " Copyright © 2017 University of Notre Dame ". - Jmabel ! talk 05:10, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
Jmabel: My mistake. In my desire to contribute to the community, I inadvertently misunderstood the licensing procedures for the two photos I uploaded (George Marsden and Mark Noll) and as such would like to request them to be deleted. Being a novice, I'm unsure of the best way to go about this process. Thanks for your understanding. --Matthewjalovick (talk) 05:40, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
