Mistakes

[edit]

I reverted it because those were all mistakes. --Orijentolog (talk) 11:58, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

One by one:

  • [1] I identified this image, it's inside of fire temple, and you replaced it with category of village.
  • Mausoleum has reference as being a shrine also.
  • [2] This waterfall is not inside the city of Taft, but in Taft County.
  • [3] This castle is indeed in Taft County, and you removed it.
  • [4] this image is already under the building category named after the village, so county isn't needed.
  • Recenty you also put several photos under "Dehshir, Yazd" just because they're named as "Dehshir Caravanserai", but photos actually don't show that building. So it's also disputable. --Orijentolog (talk) 12:09, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I made new category for that building (Dehshir Castle). :) Anyway, by "fitting image titles" you'll only make damage, because a lot of photos contain wrong description. I guarantee you that majority of Yazd Province's photos are properly categorized, because I checked most of them (not all unfortunately), so that province is one of the best organized ones. If you notice any issue or something dubious, it's better that you warn me personally, I'll gladly help. Haste nabashi. :) --Orijentolog (talk) 13:36, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your attention.
One by one: :)
  • [5] The old cypress of Cham and the fire temple of Cham are located next to each other. But the cypress tree is not part of the fire temple building. There are two separate pages for these two in Persian Wikipedia.[6][7] On this page, you will see a sign of this place, where the names of the old cypress and the fire temple are given separately.[8]
  • You are right. The word Shrine(حرم in Persian) and Mausoleum(بقعه یا مقبره in Persian) are very close to each other. But in Shiite Islamic culture, the shrine(حرم) is more often referred to as the tomb of the sons of the Imams.
  • [9]The waterfall is not inside Taft city, but it is next to Taft city and its entrance is from Taft city. It is true that the waterfall is in Taft county, but if it wants to be classified, it must be classified in Taft city, because the waterfall is not in any other village or city in Taft county.
  • [10] I wanted to categorize it in Category:Gariz. There was a problem: Gariz is a village divided inro to parts: Gariz-e Olya and Gariz-e Sofla. Castle, and the castle is located between these two parts. But there was no page for Gariz. I created this category anyway.
  • [11] You're right, county isn't needed.
Thank you for creating Dehshir Castle category.
I'm from Taft and I live in Taft. I think I can help in the corrections related to Taft county and Taft city.
Best regards. Msalehdt (talk) 17:50, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Truly happy to meet someone from Yazd Province! :)
  • Regarding the tree, you're not correct. I did not make edits "just for fun," I searched deeply and by official floor plan (page 32) and satellite image, it's obvious that tree is located in the southeastern courtyard of fire temple. Persian Wiki may have separate articles, but even if we make separate category for tree here, it would be still categorized under the Cham Fire Temple category.
  • Of course I know, we have Imamzadehs in Iran and other Shrines in Iran (Sufi, non-Muslim, etc). Almost all shrines in these categories (hundreds) were edited by me so I'm familiar with the subject.
  • You're confusing two things: Geography of Taft, Yazd (for the city) and Geography of Taft County (for shahrestan). I put waterfall into the latter category [12] as it should be. There are hundreds of other cases where geographic subjects are close to some Iranian city, but I never put them into cities because it's simply wrong and misleading.
  • No problem about Gariz any more, I solved everything, as you see: Gariz Castle. I put it under Gariz-e Olya because it's closer to it. Soon I'll also solve Reshkuiyeh Castle which you opened.
Generally speaking, I edited almost everything inside Cultural heritage monuments in Yazd Province. You'll notice that every of >100 buildings have proper infobox, precise coordinates, location, dating, historic period, material, even references inside Wikidata. I want 100% precision, and I hope it makes you Taftis and Yazdis happy! :) --Orijentolog (talk) 21:08, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for reviewing all these items and I wish you all the best. Msalehdt (talk) 21:17, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
