lacking wow factor[edit]
Hi there. I can understand that you think my stonechat is "Good image, but lacking wow factor." It is just a bird portrait. But I cannot understand why you think the sparrow head has wow. Charlesjsharp (talk) 09:11, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
- Not sure why I need to justify my vote here or even my criteria as you compare my vote of different candidates. Still, I can say that "your" stonechat is too ordinary but probably useful for a Wikipedia article, it's an encyclopaedic image of a boring subject. The sparrow head is outstanding in terms of detail. If I see things at a detail I cannot usually appreciate with my own eyes (in this case an ordinary item could even get more interesting, as you are used to see it, but not like this), then I can get wowed.
