Hi there, I see you changed the location in the description of this photograph from RAF North Pickenham to RAF Metfield. Can you give the evidence for this ? Thanks, Rod. Rcbutcher (talk) 06:16, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

Yes, when I went to the 491st Bomb Group's web page, they have the same picture posted there as part of the unit's history and had labeled the picture, "Like a parade of elephants, B-24s of the 491st line up on the perimiter (SIC) track at Metfield before a mission. (Photo-Winston)". So, since it seems the 491st transferred from RAF Metfield to RAF N. Pickenham in late August 1944, it seemed to make sense that the shot was from the earlier base.
